Well, I know your all going to give me a kick here, go ahead.
But the fact remains I downloaded 5.2 live on bittorrent to mess around with it, and I came
up with some tunes I really like. Now all of a sudden the copyright protection alarm bells have
went off, so like the story goes a person messing around with softwear for a while, likes it and now
is going to buy it, but it seems the files are infected with copyright protection.
Does anyone know when I buy the software if they will survive or not ?
Also does anyone know if you can still buy an older version like 5.2 from ableton or somewhere else ?
Thanks

Re: 5.2 bittorrent nightmare.
Thu, June 4, 2009 - 1:59 PMI don't know if you're using mac or pc but I remember a friend telling me awihle back that he had been using a cracked copy of Live for os x and when it 'Time-bombed' it actually corrupted all of his live project files.
If u really want to test your files before purchasing the software then why don't you wipe the version of live that you have and just download the demo from live's site?
