hello everybody, this is a double post, not sure which tribe is more active.....
I just recently blessed my computer by loading up ableton 7 but still am having
trouble working it. The tutorilas on the actual programs helps a lot, but it seems like
I need to take even one sep back and begin from skratch.....

....so.....

without bringing up old questions, coz I'm sure this
one has been asked, but
?where can one find good intro tutorials for live?
I found some on youtube, but still too advanced for me at this moment
Tnaks in advance for any response!!

Do remember that Ableton also comes with some GREAT tutorials-some of the best I've ever seen. If you have checked them out, go into the help pull down and check them out!

Some synths are better suited to commonly heard bass sounds (ie. genre specific sounds such as the reese for DnB), but any synth can make bass patches. If you need some help with the concepts of synthesis, check out my basic synthesis videos via the top 3 links on this page: www.mutantaudio.net/forum/ezlinks.php

Having said that, my favorite synths for making basses are Operator, Crystal, Subtractor, and Maelstrom.
