There is no spoon- uh... pause button. There is stop playback (spacebar) and resume from current location (shift-spacebar), and with Control Aid you can translate the keystrokes to MIDI and assign the functions to buttons.

If you have USB ports to spare, you can also use something like the ShuittlePro or ShuttleExpress, and assign commonly used keystrokes to the buttons. I've used the ShuttleExpress, with the wheel for um *cough* jogging. And stuff.

There ain't no finer drama than rockin' out like there ain't no tomorrow into a big-ass buildup, reaching the moment of absolute climax, then bringin' your fappin' hand down on the bigdamnbutton like your slappin' the ass of a trance DJ's girlfriend.
